Ingredients

Scale

Base Ingredients

  • 8 oz white chocolate (chopped, high-quality)
  • 24 pretzel twists

Optional Add-ins

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter (optional, for smoothness)

Toppings

  • sea salt flakes (for a salty contrast)
  • chopped nuts (pistachios, almonds, pecans)
  • sprinkles (for decoration)
  • crushed candy (such as candy canes or toffee)
  • shredded coconut (for extra texture)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Place the chopped white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until completely melted and smooth. Alternatively, melt using a double boiler.
  3. If desired, stir in vanilla extract and/or butter for enhanced flavor and smoothness.
  4. Hold each pretzel by one end and dip into the melted white chocolate, coating as much as desired.
  5. Allow excess chocolate to drip off, then place the coated pretzel on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. If using toppings, sprinkle them onto the chocolate while still wet.
  7. Allow pretzels to set at room temperature for a few minutes, then transfer to the refrigerator for about 15 minutes until the chocolate is completely set.
  8. Once set, transfer to an airtight container for storage or arrange on a serving platter.

Notes

For the best results, use high-quality white chocolate with real cocoa butter. If the chocolate begins to thicken while dipping, reheat in 10-second intervals.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week.

For holiday variations, add seasonal sprinkles, crushed candy canes, or colored sugar.
