A fresh and vibrant salad featuring strawberries and spinach, perfect for light lunches or side dishes.

  • 4 cups fresh spinach leaves
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette

Instructions

  1. Wash the spinach leaves thoroughly and dry them with a salad spinner or towel.
  2. Slice the strawberries and place them in a large mixing bowl along with the spinach.
  3. Add the crumbled feta cheese, chopped walnuts, and thinly sliced red onion to the bowl.
  4. Mix the balsamic vinaigrette in a small bowl to combine.
  5. Drizzle the dressing over the salad ingredients, then gently toss everything together until well coated.
  6. Serve immediately for the freshest taste, or chill for about 30 minutes if you prefer a colder salad.
  7. Finish with additional walnuts or cheese on top before serving, if desired.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, replace feta with avocado or omit cheese entirely. If you have nut allergies, sunflower seeds are a great substitute for walnuts.
