A creamy and satisfying smoothie made with ripe bananas and rich peanut butter, perfect for a quick breakfast or post-workout boost.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe bananas (frozen slices for extra thickness)
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup milk (dairy, almond, oat, etc.)
  • 1/2 cup yogurt (Greek or regular; optional)
  • 12 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
  • A tiny pinch of salt (optional)
  • 1/21 cup ice (if bananas are not frozen)

Instructions

  1. Add the liquid to the blender first, then yogurt if using.
  2. Add bananas, peanut butter, and any optional ingredients like vanilla and cinnamon.
  3. Add ice if you want it extra cold or if using fresh bananas.
  4. Secure the lid and start blending on low speed, then increase to high.
  5. Stop to scrape down the sides if needed. Adjust the consistency by adding milk or ice.
  6. Blend on high for 45–60 seconds until smooth and frothy.
  7. Taste and sweeten if needed. Pour into a chilled glass and serve right away.

Notes

For a thicker texture, always use frozen bananas. You can customize with chocolate or greens, based on your flavor preference.
