Light and refreshing no-bake dessert featuring layers of whipped cream, strawberries, and shortcake.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces store-bought shortcake or ladyfinger cookies
  • Additional strawberries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whip together the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  2. Layer a few slices of strawberries at the bottom of your serving cups.
  3. Add a layer of shortcake or cookie pieces over the strawberries.
  4. Spoon a layer of the whipped cream mixture over the shortcake pieces.
  5. Repeat the layering process until the cups are filled, finishing with a layer of whipped cream on top.
  6. Cover the cups loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 60 minutes to set.
  7. Top with extra sliced strawberries before serving for a beautiful finish.

Notes

Use cold heavy cream for best whipping results. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
