Quick, bright, and customizable breakfast parfaits that you can prep ahead for busy mornings.

Ingredients

  • Yogurt (Greek, skyr, or regular, plain or vanilla)
  • Sweetener (honey or maple syrup, optional)
  • Flavor (vanilla extract, lemon zest, or cinnamon, optional)
  • Fresh fruit (berries, mango, peaches, pineapple, apples, or pears)
  • Optional fruit boost (a spoon of jam or a quick compote)
  • Crunch (granola, toasted oats, nuts, or seeds)
  • Extras (optional: chia seeds, ground flax, coconut flakes, nut butter)

Instructions

  1. Prep jars or containers (8–12 oz). Wash and dry fruit. Cut larger fruit into small pieces.
  2. In a bowl, stir yogurt with honey or maple to taste. Add vanilla and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth.
  3. Toss cut fruit with a little lemon juice to keep color bright.
  4. Layer: spoon 1/2 cup yogurt into each jar, add a layer of fruit, then more yogurt. Leave space at the top.
  5. For crunch, keep granola or nuts separate in small bags or cups. Add right before eating so it stays crisp.
  6. Chill the parfaits in the fridge for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best flavor.
  7. When ready to serve, top with granola, a drizzle of honey, and any extras you like. Enjoy cold.

Notes

Store parfaits covered and chilled for 3–4 days. Keep crunchy toppings separate until serving.
