A delicious twist on classic deviled eggs featuring spicy jalapeños, crispy bacon, and creamy cheese, perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs, hard-boiled and peeled
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 small jalapeño, finely diced (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 strips crispy bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs (for topping)
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • Sliced jalapeño, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Eggs: Slice the hard-boiled eggs in half and remove the yolks into a bowl. Mash the yolks with a fork until smooth.
  2. Make the Filling: Add cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, jalapeño, shredded cheddar, bacon, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the yolks. Mix until creamy.
  3. Assemble the Eggs: Spoon or pipe the filling back into the egg whites.
  4. Add Crunchy Topping: Mix panko breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over each egg. Broil on high for 1-2 minutes until golden brown (optional but adds a crispy touch).
  5. Garnish & Serve: Top with sliced jalapeños and enjoy!

Notes

For easier filling, use a piping bag or zip-top bag with a snipped corner. Adjust spiciness by varying jalapeño amounts. Consider adding more cream cheese for extra creaminess.
