A rich and creamy pasta dish featuring chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, and a luscious sauce that’s sure to satisfy.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or linguine)
  • Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken strips with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. While the chicken cooks, boil pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes and cook for another minute.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, stirring until the sauce starts to simmer. Add Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes (if using) and continue stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  6. Return the cooked chicken and pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together until evenly coated with the sauce. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to let flavors meld.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

Use fresh chicken and ingredients for the best flavor. Substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version. Adjust red pepper flakes for heat preference.
