A delightful appetizer that combines rich, creamy brie cheese with sweet figs and honey, perfect for gatherings or cozy nights.

Ingredients

  • 1 wheel of brie cheese
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup fresh figs, sliced (or dried figs)
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish (optional)
  • Crackers, bread, or fruit for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the brie on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Drizzle honey over the top of the brie.
  4. Arrange the fig slices on top of the honey.
  5. Bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the brie is soft and gooey.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve with crackers or bread.

Notes

Best served fresh; you can prepare toppings in advance. For a vegan option, try plant-based cheese and maple syrup instead.
