  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream or milk
  • Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, tortilla chips, chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, sauté the ground meat over medium heat until fully cooked and browned.
  2. Drain any excess fat, then add black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, and taco seasoning.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and stir everything together.
  4. Bring the soup to a simmer, and then reduce heat.
