  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour your Bundt pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Stir in boiling water (the batter will be thin).
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan.
  7. Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a more wholesome version, use whole wheat flour. Store cake in an airtight container for up to three days or refrigerate for up to a week.
